Hi! I'm Priscilla,

the owner and illustrator behind Bearer Of Good News.

And this was Rambo—my poodle, my best friend, and the little face that quietly became the heart behind this business.

For 17 wonderful years, Rambo was my constant companion, my studio assistant, and the quiet soul behind countless illustrations.

My love for art began at the age of six, and the very first animal I ever owned was a chicken.
The rest, as they say, is history.

In 2019, what began as a pet portrait business slowly grew into something bigger.

My love for art and animals found a home in clean, expressive linework, and Bearer Of Good News was born.
Over the years, my work has expanded beyond pets to include human portraits, custom illustrations, corporate designs, tattoo designs, and meaningful commissions—but the heart behind it has remained exactly the same.

 

Why the name Bearer Of Good News?
From 2017 to 2019, I had the privilege of working as a full-time pet sitter at Copperleaf Golf & Country Estate in Centurion. It gave me the opportunity to build genuine relationships with so many remarkable animals, each with a personality and story of their own.

They reminded me, every single day, that joy often arrives on four legs.

This business exists to celebrate those companions—the ones who love us unconditionally. They are the bearers of good news.

And, of course, so is Rambo.
